WTA 125 Valle d'Aosta Ladies Open

It is an event that brings the best players on the global circuit to the Valle d’Aosta. The WTA 125 VALLE D’AOSTA LADIES OPEN is organized by Centro Tennis, operated by the duo Andrea Mantegazza and Paola Bergamo, President of Centro Tennis and of the Centro Studi MB2 Monte Bianco • Mario Bergamo per dare un tetto all’Europa, an Aosta-based ETS that sponsors the Courmayeur event alongside Gazzetta dello Sport.

Andrea Mantegazza, a former prominent athlete in the Italian tennis scene, is a sports entrepreneur and a nationally and internationally acclaimed coach, boasting 30 years of experience as a sports event organizer.

After organizing and managing numerous FIT and ITF tournaments, he teamed up with Paola Bergamo to organize 5 editions of ATP tournaments, including the 4 prestigious editions of the Cortina d’Ampezzo Tennis Open (from 2014 to 2017) and the Padova ATP in 2018.

Andrea Mantegazza serves as the Tournament Director of the WTA 125 in Courmayeur, alongside Stefano Lopez, an expert in sports and entertainment management.

With a prize pool of €100,000, the Valle d’Aosta WTA 125 offers players the opportunity to accumulate valuable points for the world ranking, and gives the public the chance to combine a passion for tennis with a prestigious location like the stunning Courmayeur.

Therefore, starting from its 2026 edition, the tournament will be a benchmark event for athletes and fans alike.

The numerous side events will complement the major sporting event, distinguishing it from any other tournament, not least due to the unique skills of the organizers, who are renowned for their ability to operate across disciplines, much like the finest tournaments in the world.

It is no coincidence that the Cortina d’Ampezzo ATP—under the expert leadership of Andrea Mantegazza and Paola Bergamo, traditionally joined by Stefano Lopez and Andrea Monti—was awarded ‘Best Scenic Tennis Tournament in the World’ in its category.
